Early Life
Jonathan Owens was born on 22 July 1995 in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Owens played high school football at Cristian Brothers College under Coach Scott Pingle after he attended middle school at Loyola Academy of St. Louis.
He won CBC Linebacker of the Year in his high school career. At the end of Jonathan Owen’s redshirt year in 2013, He played defensive back for Missouri Western State University, and during his final season in 2017, he was the best Male Student-Athlete of the Year of MWSU.
He became a part of the AII-MIAA Second Team. Throughout his college career, he was on MIAA honor academic roll. Though his dream was to peruse medicine as a profession, so he majored in pre-physical therapy, fate had something else in store for him, and that brought him this level.
Owens signed with Arizona Cardinals in the 2018 NFL Draft as an undrafted free agent but was excluded by the Arizona Cardinals in 2019 due to an injury, as he spent the whole season on the injured reserve.

Career
Later he was signed to the Houston Texans practice squad in September 209, and later was promoted to the active roster and waived again two days later, and signed for the practice squad. On January 13th, 2020 he signed a future contract with the Texans.
His average salary was $570,000, he was waived by the Texans on 5th September 2020 to the practice squad, and on October 10 and 17 he was elevated to the active roster for the teams week 5 & 6 games which were against the Jacksonville Jaguars and The Tennessee Titans.
