Early Life
On September 13, 1968, in Marietta, Georgia, James Bradley Johnson was born in Marietta, Georgia. Johnson went to Charles D. Owen High School and was an All-American and All-State football and basketball player.
Johnson attended Florida State University in 1987, where he was a member of the Seminoles men’s basketball team. He won the 1990 Fiesta Bowl and the 1992 Cotton Bowl Classic as a quarterback.
Professional Career
Johnson was selected in the 9th round of the NFL Draft in 1992 by the Minnesota Vikings. He played with Minnesota Vikings from 1992 to 1998. He was on the team that lost in Super Bowl XXXVII to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Johnson signed a two-year contract with the Washington Redskins in 1999. From 2001 to 2004, he played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he won Super Bowl XXXVII. After the Buccaneers dismissed him, he joined the Cowboys.
Before being released and signed with the Jets, he spent two seasons with the Cowboys. However, after one season with the Jets, he was released and signed with the Texans.
