Early Life
White was born in Fritch, Texas on December 18, 1956, to Barbara Joan Craig and Charles Don White. He went on to serve in the Army at the age of 17 and was in the auxiliary rescue and salvage ship USS Conserver at the end of the Vietnam War.
He always aspired to be a comedian. For a brief period, he lived in Mexico and bought a pottery factory there, and then returned to the United States to pursue comedy.
Career
White toured from January 2000 to March 2003 along with fellow comedians Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy, and Jeff Foxworthy as a part of the Blue-Collar Comedy Tour. The show was sold out across the United States in over 85 cities and earned a good $15 million.
White also made guest appearances on Blue Collar T.V. and even went on to launch his own show, The Ron White Show on WB Television Network. White also filmed several episodes and appeared as a celebrity judge for The Gong Show with Dave Attell. He has also appeared on the shows such as ‘Sex and the City 2,’ ‘Kath & Kim,’ ‘Reno 911!,’ ’12 Miles of Bad Road,’ and ‘Horrible Bosses.’
He has also made a cameo appearance on ‘Why Wait,’ a Rascal Flatts music video. As a part of his act, he drinks Scotch and smokes cigarettes, and even cigars, and has stated the same in his ‘You Can’t Fix Stupid Show.’

White married Lori Brice in 1981 and divorced in 1993. They had a son together named Marshall. He then married Barbara Dobbs in 2004 and they divorced in 2008.
