LePreston Porter, better known as Snootie Wild, was born on April 23, 1985, in Memphis, Tennessee. After being stabbed in the knee at the age of 17, Snootie Wild was unable to continue her athletic career. From the age of 21 to 25, he served four years in prison.

Snootie subsequently went into a life of crime, ending up in prison for four years. Snootie wrote the lyrics for his first single, “Yayo,” which was published by Heartland Entertainment in 2013 and produced by K.Figz.
