Anthony Frank Hawk was born on May 12, 1968, in San Diego, California, to Nancy, his mother, and Frank Peter Rupert Hawk, his father. His 3 siblings are Pat, Lenore, and Steve. He spent most of his youth in San Diego and his brother introduced him to the skateboarding world when he was 8 years old.
