Personal Life
Curry was burned over 20% of his body, including his arm, back, and side, when an aerosol can that had fallen behind a water heater exploded on May 17, 2007. He recovered at home for several months.
Curry openly stated to CNN.com in an Associated Press interview that he considered suicide after waking up from a three-day medically induced coma. However, he decided against it with the help of friends and fellow comedians such as Sinbad and Bill Cosby.
