Johnson joined the ONE Championship and made his debut in 2019 against Yuya Wakamatsu, defeating him by second-round submission. He won his next 2 bouts. In 2021, Johnson was knocked out for the first time in his MMA career as he battled Adriano Moraes at ONE on TNT 1.
