Donald Anthony Cerrone was born on March 29, 1983, in Cerrone and diagnosed with ADHD at a young age but never sought treatment for it. Growing up, he was regarded as a problematic kid as a child.

Cerrone married Lindsay and has 2 kids, Dacson Danger Cerrone and Riot River Cerrone. Cerrone opened an MMA gym on his property in Edgewood, New Mexico in 2014.
