Early Life

Hardy is the son of Ruby Moore and Gilbert Hardy and the younger brother of Matt Hardy born in North Carolina, the U.S.A on August 31, 1977. His mother passed away 10 years after he was born due to brain cancer.

He had an interest in motocross and received his first bike, a Yamaha YZ-80 at the age of 12. He also played baseball but had to stop due to his injuries from a motocross race.

Singles and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling

He went on to hold a record for competing as a Singles player in Intercontinental, Light Heavyweight, and Hardcore Championships. After years of being in the Tag Team, Hardy went on to take The Undertaker in a ladder match.

It was for the Undisputed WWE Championship and won against him. He won the European Championship but however lost the Intercontinental Championship. The Hardy Boyz split.

Hardy met his girlfriend Beth Britt in 1999 shortly after his tag team won the championship for the first time. Hardy’s house burned down in 2008 and his dog died in the fire.
