Jon Gruden was born on August 17, 1963, in Ohio, USA. His full name is Joe David Gruden. His father worked as a professional football coach. His family is of Slovene descent. His parents are Jay and Kathy Gruden. He also has a sibling named Jay Gruden.
He was raised in a catholic family and completed his high school at Clay High School in Indiana. After that, he joined the Muskingum College in Ohio to get his bachelor’s. One year at Muskingum College he shifted to the University of Dayton and from there he graduated with a bachelor’s in communications.
