Eve Jihan Jeffers was brought into the world on November 10, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Julie, her mother, was a publishing company supervisor, and Jerry, her father, was a chemical factory supervisor. Julie and Jerry filed for divorce when Eve was 12, and two years later her mother married Ron Wilch, offering Eve a half-brother, Farrow.
