Early Life

Ice Cube was born to Doris Jackson, a hospital clerk and custodian, and Hosea Jackson, a machinist and UCLA groundskeeper, on June 15, 1969, in Los Angeles. He has an elder brother and a half-sister. His half-sister was murdered when he was 12 years old. He went to George Washington Preparatory High School before going on to William Howard Taft High School.
