Shailene Dianne Woodley was born on November 15, 1991, in San Bernardino, California but raised in Simi Valley. She spent most of her early childhood days there at Simi Valley. Her mother, Lori Woodley served as a school counselor, and her father, Lonnie Woodley worked as a school head. Shailene and her younger brother, Tanner Woodley, grew up in Upland, California.
