Early Life
Navarro was born in Massachusetts on July 15, 1949. His father played for a house band and was a clarinettist in New Hampshire. His parents divorced when he was 9 and Navarro lived with his mother in Florida.
Peter Navarro attended the Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. Peter Navarro went to Tufts University through a scholarship and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts.
He then spent his next three years at the U.S. Peace Corps in Thailand. Navarro was able to earn a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and a PhD in economics.
