Art Lafleur was born on 9th September in 1943 in Gary, Indiana United States of America. Any information about his parents is not known but it is known that prior to opting to move from Chicago, Illinois to Los Angeles, California in 1975 at the age of 31, Art worked extensively in sales, as well as in the saloon and restaurant business.
Art started his career in 1977, by appearing in plays, and a year later, he appeared in his first television film. Art has appeared in a number of television series as a guest star, including Angel and JAG. In 1983, he has cast alongside Alex Karras and Susan Clark in the ABC sitcom pilot Another Ballgame.
