Art Lafleur was born on 9th September in 1943 in Gary, Indiana United States of America. He moved from Chicago, Illinois to Los Angeles, California in 1975 at the age of 31, Art worked extensively in sales, as well as in the saloon and restaurant business.
Career
Art started his career in 1977, by appearing in plays, and a year later, he appeared in his first television film. Art has appeared in a number of television series as a guest star, including Angel and JAG.
In 1983, he has cast alongside Alex Karras and Susan Clark in the ABC sitcom pilot Another Ballgame. In the 1995 family comedy film Man of the House (Silver Fox), he played the quirky and obsessive character Red Sweeney (Silver Fox).
In season 9 (“Father’s Day”) of the television series MAS*H, he played an MP on the lookout for the person guilty of a stolen side of beef. Then, in the 1985 science fiction picture Zone Troopers, Art played US Army soldier Mittens.
In the film Field of Dreams, Art played baseball star Chick Gandil of the 1919 Black Sox fame. He played the White House security chief in Disney’s First Kid (1996), “McNulty” in both Trancers (1985) and Trancers II (1991), and 1st Sgt. Brandon T. Williams in In the Army Now (1994).
He played pilot Jack Neely in Air America (1990), Banes in The Replacements (2000), and Sergeant Rutledge in Beethoven’s 4th (2003). Similarly, in the 1992 film Mr. Baseball, Art played a coach with the New York Yankees.
He also played the tooth fairy in The Santa Clause 2 in 2002 and The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause in 2006. [3] In 2005, he played Bruce Willis’ deputy sheriff in the film Hostage. He had roles in Ace Ventura Jr: Pet Detective and “The Rig” in 2009. He appeared in The Sandlot.
